Hepatobiliary Days

Hepatobiliary Fellows

The hepato-biliary Companions are a group of Surgeons initially trained at the Hepato-Biliary Centre of Paul Brousse Hospital by Professor Henri BISMUTH. In recent years, the group has expanded through the trainees of the Companions trained in their own centres. Currently the group of HB Companions comprises approximately 90 Companions and 30 Associated Companions. New Companions are selected by cooptation from among surgeons trained in the Companions' centres

Presentation

Every year, the Companions organize a congress in a different country at the invitation of one of their members.

This congress comprises three days: the first day is devoted to the discussion of clinical cases and the other two days to a symposium of communications.

It is during this congress that new Companions and Associated Companions are introduced

The last congress took place in Paris, the next one in 2027 will take place in Buenos Aires and the following one in 2028 in Murcia in Spain.
